Psychotherapy is the beginning of an extraordinarily personal process of change and growth. An investment in yourself, therapy can lead to a greater sense of well being and resiliency. As a psychotherapist, I will join you in the work of discovering new possibilities for a personally meaningful and good life.
As a relational therapist, I consider how psychological struggles are rooted in early life experiences that set the foundation for how you feel about yourself and think about your future. I am interested in the stories you tell, and how these stories influence your sense of self and relationships with others as you move through the world
As a relational therapist, I consider how psychological struggles are rooted in early life experiences that set the foundation for how you feel about yourself and think about your future. I am interested in the stories you tell, and how these stories influence your sense of self and relationships with others as you move through the world. We will consider how you may have learned to constrict your feelings, limit self-expression, or keep others at bay — perhaps because you feel you must conform to certain expectations, or perhaps because you worry about how others may see you.
Psychotherapy is a safe place where you can be in touch with, feel, express, and think about your life experiences. Talking through the losses, burdens, and pain you carry can help you begin to feel more positively about yourself and others, and feel content in your life.
My practice includes longer term and brief psychotherapy, short-term consultation, and supervision of mental health professionals. My approach is primarily psychodynamic, yet I work from an integrative framework, incorporating emotion focused, cognitive, and solution focused interventions to meet patients where they are.
As a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, I am interested in a range of psychological struggles that impact one’s capacity for experiencing joy, intimacy, and creativity. I work with adults, across the generations from college students to the elderly. I have developed special expertise in helping individuals with self esteem

The psychotherapy relationship we develop is fundamental to creating a safe, open space where you can explore whatever troubles you. The main focus of our work will be helping you expand your choices for how you want to live your life now. As a psychotherapist, I am honored to witness personal transformation and growth even in the most difficult of life circumstances.
